Santa Rita

I'll admit that I haven't been the best about posting to this blog. Part of it is that I have no time. the other part of it is that I have no money to go out to dinner anymore. Add to that the fact that credit card roulette sucks, and you have the reason for my lack of writing.

I will tell you upfront that I lost at credit card roulette for this particular dining experience. Ouch.

The restaurant is in a little bit of a strip mall, though the food is quite tasty. We had an over excited server who told us that he was recently appointed manager of the restaurant. Screw him. He was the one that picked my card to pay for the meal. Just kidding, it's not like it was his fault.

Chips and Queso, which they serve at every meal in Texas, were good. Not the best I've ever had, but I would order them again. I had the combination fajitas and they were very good. Now, they weren't as good as Lupe Tortilla in Houston, but nobody will be, so that's not even a fair comparison.

Overall, the drinks were tasty, the food was delicious and the company was great. The meal was just ruined in the last 5 minutes. The one final moment that made the evening spectacular was when my friend GW was walking out and told a latin looking fellow that it was a wonderful night and thanks for the great food. It turns out, he was just waiting for a table.
